MCP does not connect
- Confirm the endpoint is exactly https://app.reasontrail.ai/api/mcp.
- Create a new scoped token in Settings → MCP clients and replace expired credentials.
- Check that the active organization and project are authorized for that token.
- For self-hosted installs, confirm the local endpoint and server process before debugging the client.
CLI or Runtime version mismatch
Run reasontrail --version and inspect the bundled Runtime with the installed package. The public registry currently serves CLI 0.1.2 / Runtime 0.3.3; restart the Runtime after upgrading the CLI bundle so the hosted Runtime can report its new handshake.
Context is unavailable
Check project membership, repository indexing status and the requested revision. Stale or mismatched evidence is intentionally withheld rather than silently substituted.

Preview a CLI capture before applying it. A successful capture creates a proposal; approval is the step that makes the outcome shared project memory.
